Who Am I

A former corporate media professional turned teaching assistant.

I spent over 12 years in corporate media before deciding I wanted to give something back. I've been working with children ever since, and I absolutely love it.

In my opinion, an excellent education is the best possible gift you can ever give a child. It's the bedrock foundation of a successful adult life — and it starts with phonics.

I spent over five years as a dedicated teaching assistant at Nottingham High School, a prestigious independent school educating children aged 3 to 18. Now I'm bringing that same one-to-one teaching directly into your home.

Every day, press play. That's the whole commitment.

In A Classroom 4 lessons

Delivered across a full academic year, shared across a class of children with the usual daily interruptions.

This Programme 7 lessons

Every day, taught directly to your child — one-to-one, with no compounded catch-up lessons needed.

How It Works

Three things I ask of you.

01

A quiet space

Ten minutes, once a day, somewhere free of distraction. That's the whole setup.

02

Press play

I teach your child directly. Afterwards, you'll work through the accompanying literacy sheet together.

03

Honest feedback

That's the only cost. Your feedback helps me fine-tune the programme's delivery and content.

The Catch

Why is it free?

What's the catch?

The catch is simple. I'll ask you for honest feedback during the programme, so I can fine-tune the delivery system and content I've built. Once I have proof that I can deliver results, I'll potentially look at charging new pupils in future.

Why a teaching assistant, not a teacher?

In class, the teacher delivers the lesson — or I do, if they're away. They're the exact same lessons I deliver in this programme. Afterwards, we both work with the children to complete the literacy sheets, and I continue supporting any children who are struggling.

What do I need to commit to?

A commitment to complete the programme, a quiet space at home each day, and press play. Nothing more.
